There is a jumping bear on the Toblerone packaging.  That is all.

Check out this Gizmodo post about a leaked Windows Phone campaign.

Burger a la Houston's

I was inspired last night by a deal on seasoned steakhouse hamburger patties -- so I sniped 2 and decided to Houston's it.  Recipe after the jump --

(note: that's not a picture of my actual burger, just one from Houston's)

Yeah L.A. food scene! The Frysmith Truck looks absolutely unbelievable.

A 3-Label Post

First, before you go check out the pictures, do this (Firefox applicable only): Download an Add-on called AutoPager.  Basically, when there's a "Next" button at the bottom of a page, it loads that next page in line so you can scroll down through the whole thing.  Almost as life-changing as Ad-block Plus.  (think annoying photo galleries and multi-part articles).

Then, go here.

My Food-TV "News" Wet Dream

While many of the diners, drive-ins, and dives featured on "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives" have both piqued my interest and sparked my appetite, Guy Fieri still sucks. Alot. Listing off arbitrary taste adjectives with your mouth full does not make you worthy of a food show.

Also, I love "No Reservations" -- even if he does get a little grandiose with his thematic overtones and sometimes borders on Andrew Zimmern territory.

That's why I couldn't have been happier to read this.

Follow-up: APMcF Review

The tale of the Apple Pie McFlurry:

It's really a shame that the BB8830 isn't a camera phone.  You'll have to settle for the scanned receipt and a verbal account.

Welcome to McDowell's

Reddit has a category called "I Am A" where someone who "is a (something)" answers questions.  In this case, a McDonald's manager came on to answer.  I've synthesized the comments after the jump.

P.S. I stopped at McDonald's on the way to work today for a McCafe.  Their viral marketing is amazing!

Yes, I've been. Ranks just below Shoney's on the AYCE circuit

Oscar: Well, sure. The question is, which way do I try to get it in her?
Michael: I don’t need any details.
Oscar: Maybe I’ll put it in her brownie.
Michael: Hey!
